2013 Australia $1 Map Shaped - Kangaroo Fine Silver (No Tax) lightly toned

The coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver.

Crafted in the distinctive shape of Australia, the coin’s coloured reverse depicts a kangaroo against an idyllic sunset scene at Picnic Rocks, Tasmania. The inscription KANGAROO also appears in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark and the 2013 year-date.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 6,000 of these Australian Map Shaped – Kangaroo 2013 1oz Silver Coins.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date and the monetary denomination.

The coin is housed in a presentation case and custom-designed shipper, accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
