1889 Canada 5-cents ICCS Certified VF-20
Victoria Portrait Obverse 5: Strand of Hair Detail: The thick first strand starts at the temple. The next three strands, starting at the brow, fall into two and then into the braid. Eye Detail: A thick eyebrow. The upper eyelid is also thick. The lower lid is weakly formed. The corner of the eye is open as the lids do not meet. Lips and Chin Detail: The upper lip is straight and thin, accented by a drooping depression from the corner of the mouth. Dates: Portrait Obverse 5 is currently known on the 1883H, 1884, 1885, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890H, 1891, and 1892 5-cents.
