2004 Canadian Open Golf Frame with Coins & Stamps

Over the last 100 years the Open Championship of Canada has produced some of golf's most memorable moments and hosted golf's greatest players. The Canadian Open is the third oldest national open championship in the world, with its inception in 1904. The first open was a 36-hole stroke play tournament played at The Royal Montreal Golf Club.

The Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post celebrate the 100th anniversary of this illustrious tournament with a limited edition frame. The frame showcases a pure silver proof $5 coin, an uncirculated 10 cent coin, a pewter medallion, and two unique circular stamps. All components are specially designed with golfer images and the inner frame will hold your favourite golf photo. Commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Open Championship of Canada to be held September 6-12, 2004 at the Glen Abbey Golf Course. High quality wood frame with Glen Abbey Golf Course picture, 2 specially designed round stamps positioned above golf tees on each side of the image, one 10-cent coin, followed by one proof 5 dollar coin and a pewter medallion.
