This 2019 Canada $25 Multifaceted Animal Head Series 3-Coin Set boasts of a striking visual effect that utilized cutting-edge technology to accomplish. Each coin underwent ultra-high relief techniques to deliver an innovative proof finish.

First coin design: The reverse sculpture by Claude Thivierge features a multifaceted wolf head built out of 435 polygons. The three-dimensional form protrudes from the flat coin, invoking both nature and geometry in its execution. The EHR plays an integral part of the design, introducing the coin as the first of its kind in the world - sharp, brilliant and doing away with the conventional flatness of minting. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Second coin design: The reverse sculpture by Alex Tirabasso features a multifaceted grizzly bear head built out of 498 polygons. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Third coin design: The reverse sculpture by Traian Georgescu features a multifaceted lynx head built out of 435 polygons. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
