This 5 oz. Pure Silver Reverse-Gold Plating 1-Cent Coin is a coin that's big on history. As part of the Big Coin Series the one cent's maple twig design is created by G.E. Kruger-Gray, which is complemented by the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

• Lower mintage. Mintage has been lowered from 1,500 to 1,250 in 2019—the lowest ever for the popular Big Coin Series, which has a history of selling quickly.
