1999 November Canada 25-cents Original Roll of 40 pcs

In celebration of the new millennium, the Canadian government held a two-year circulating commemorative program that was conducted in two parts: one in 1999 and another one in 2000. All designs from 1999 feature images of Canada's past. In an open design contest called “Create a Centsation” over 33,000 designs were submitted for consideration. Each program released one design each month and each came with a unique design. This November 1999 Canada 25-Cent Original Roll contains the coin, The Airplane Opens The North Millennium Quarter. This 25-cent features a tribute to the bush plane and its contribution to opening access to northern Canada. Each roll contains 40 Royal Canadian Mint issued 25-cent coins for circulation.
