The beaver's cultural and economic relevance in Canada is momentous. In fact, the Hurons, a tribe in the north shore of Lake Ontario honoured them as a totem of their tribe hundreds of years ago. Also, native people utilized the beaver emblem to sign treaties with first colonists. Continue the Canadian tradition of the beaver with this 1996 Original Roll of 5-Cent (40 Pieces). The reverse design of the coins was first used in 1937 and it features the work of Canadian artist G.E. Kruger Gray. The obverse design comes with an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
