The Royal Canadian Mint operates two facilities: it's original home in Ottawa and its high-tech and high-volume facility in Winnipeg. This 1998 W Proof Like Set is produced in Winnipeg and to distinguish them from those that are created in Ottawa, a "W" was added to the coins. The coins include the $2, $1, 50-cent, 25-cent, 10-cent, 5-cent, and penny coins made from nickel.
