This Sterling Silver Proof $2 Coin contains a 24-karat gold-plated inner core of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. The Sterling Silver outer ring contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.

The biggest non-aquatic carnivore on earth, it is found in many parts of Canada: James Bay to northern Ellesmere Island, and from Labrador to the Alaskan border. This coin contains a 24-karat gold-plated inner core of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper and has a design which commemorates the path of knowledge reflected in experience, wisdom and knowledge that is passed down from generation to generation. The inscription on the coin's outer rim reads "Knowledge - Le Savoir." This was the only "tails" design to appear on the 2000 two-dollar circulation coin. This coin comes beautifully packaged in a clamshell box from The Royal Canadian Mint.
