The cougar is Canada's largest cat and it's common in the country's western region. This sleek, strong and surprisingly secretive animal is featured on this 99.999% Pure Gold $350 Coin released in 2019 is part of the Canadian Wildlife Portraits series.

The coin's reverse design by Canadian artist Denis Meyer Jr. features the cougar (Puma concolor) resting. It's exceptionally done with superb attention to detail.
