2005 Canada Terry Fox Dollar Original Roll of 25pcs

Terry Fox was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist. In 1980, with one leg having been amputated due to cancer, he embarked on an east to west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Although the spread of his cancer eventually forced him to end his quest before finishing the run, his efforts resulted in a lasting, worldwide legacy.

This legacy continues as the Royal Canadian Mint proudly released a special 2005 $1 circulation coin in his honour. This 25-piece roll is a perfect addition to any coin collection wishing to capture the history of Canada. Each coin features an image of a running Terry Fox with a forest in the background, created by Stan Witten. The obverse comes with an image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
