2004-P Canada St. Croix (Ship) 25-Cent Original Roll of 40pcs.

On June 1604, approximately 100 men sailed five French ships to the St. Croix River region that divides what is now New Brunswick and Maine. Afterwards, they established a permanent French settlement in North America on a small island that was referred to as Muttoneguis by its indigenous population. Later on, it was renamed Île Ste.-Croix. Celebrate the 400th anniversary of this momentous event with this 2004 St. Croix 25-Cent Original Roll of 25 Pieces. The reverse design of a 17th century ship is designed by Emanuel Hahn while the obverse design the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is designed by Susanna Blunt.
