1977 Canada 25th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's Accession to the British Throne Specimen Commemorative Silver Dollar.

During 1977 the Queen celebrated the 25th anniversary of her accession to the throne. Many countries, including Canada, recognized the event with a special Commemorative coin. The design on the reverse depicts the throne of the Senate of Canada, which is used by the Queen of the Governor General for ceremonial occasions. The obverse was specifically designed for this coin and bears a special legend and the dates 1952-1977
