2018 Nicaragua C$100 Wildlife - Ocelot 1oz. Silver (No Tax)
The ocelot is a medium sized cat that is strong and agile. It is known for the beautiful and distinctive markings on its thick velvety coat, along with the stripes on its head and face that are distinctive to each individual. Its height can vary between 70 to 90 centimetres. The ocelot can climb, run, and swim but spends most of the day resting on the branches of high trees, only coming down at night to hunt. It is generally a solitary animal, but when it breeds it may have 2 to 4 cubs.
The fourth coin in our Wildlife of Nicaragua pure 1oz silver coin collection features the solitary wild cat, the Ocelot, South America's second largest spotted cat.
Issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua, this fourth release cleverly combines the coloured ocelot amongst intricate engravings of its native forest habitat.
The coin is presented within a modern wooden box featuring Nicaragua's Coat of Arms. Inside, the coin is nestled in cream velvet alongside the Certificate of Authenticity written in both English and Spanish. The outer box design is in keeping with the Nicaraguan wildlife theme.
With only 5,000 coins available worldwide, the Ocelot 1oz Silver Coin makes a delightful collectible for coin collectors and wildlife enthusiast. Add this fourth coin to your collection today.
