Description

1984 Canada Brilliant Uncirculated .50 Silver Dollar Commemorating the Toronto Sesquicentennial.

Toronto is Ontario's capital city, Canada's biggest municipality, and the fourth-biggest city in North America. It has experienced exceptional growth since its incorporation to the country on April 22, 1834. During that time, it had a mayor, complemented by a city council that was elected by wards. After some time, sizable civic departments were established to include roads, law enforcement, water, and other services. The rest is history. Commemorate the 150th anniversary of the 1834 incorporation of the city of Toronto with this Sesquicentennial 1984 Brilliant Uncirculated Canada Dollar from the Canadian Mint. The reverse design is created by David Craig and comes with an image that depicts an Indigenous person in a canoe. As is typical, this coin may have light toning, and the outer cardboard sleeve may have some wear.
