This enabled them to preserve their core values and history moving forward. This momentous event is preserved in this $2 Nunavut Commemorative $2 Original Coin Roll of 25 pieces.

The design of the coins is created by Nunavut First Nations artist Germaine Arnaktauyok which depicts an Inuit drum dance. The drum signifies that the people will be heard near and far and features a map outlining Nunavut. Inside the map is a kudliq, a stone lamp that serves as a source of warmth and provides a sense of security.
