Description

1973 Canada 5-cents Original Roll of 40 pcs (image is an example of what you will receive)

In Canada, the beaver is a cultural and economic icon. In fact, hundreds of years ago, the Hurons, a tribe in the north shore of Ontario, honoured the mammal by making them their totem. On top of this, during the 16th century, the demand for beaver pelts was tremendous, which contributed to the country's economic growth. Because of its significance to the country, the beaver design by Canadian artist G.E. Kruger Gray was incorporated to the design of the 5-cent coin in 1937. It was complemented by an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, which was taken when she was 39 years old. Commemorate the contributions of the beaver to the great nation of Canada with this Canada 5-Cent 1973 Original Roll of 40 Pcs.
