The reverse of the $20 The Platinum Jubilee of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Fine Silver Coin was designed by Canadian artist Pandora Young features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as she looked in 1952, the year of her accession to the throne. The double dates “1952 2022” commemorate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee (“PLATINUM JUBILEE JUBILÉ DE PLATINE”), while the maple leaves celebrate the monarch’s 70 years of service to Canada. The obverse indicates a denomination of “20 DOLLARS” and features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
The reverse of the 2022 £2 The Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen Silver Proof Coin was inspired by regal emblems of the past, the reverse design by artist John Bergdahl displays the Royal Arms within a royal mantle. Also designed by John Bergdahl, the obverse features the commemorative jubilee portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on horseback, framed by the royal garter bearing the motto “HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE”.
