After the Jedi Order is all but eradicated, Obi-Wan hides on Tatooine, watching over Luke Skywalker and waiting to teach him the ways of The Force. Finally, fate intervenes and together they set out to deliver the Death Star plans. En route, Obi-Wan begins instructing Luke in the ways of The Force and Lightsaber combat, but the group is forced to board the Death Star. There the Jedi Master encounters Darth Vader, his former student turned Sith. They duel, and Obi-Wan willingly accepts his death so that Luke and his allies can escape.
Later, the disembodied voice of Obi-Wan speaks to Luke and guides him to use the Force, not his ship's technology, to destroy the Death Star. "The Force will be with you," Obi-Wan's voice tells Luke. "Always."
The second imposing 5g pure silver coin note in the Star Wars: A New Hope Collection features Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi with his Lightsaber and in battle with Darth Vader.
Coloured and engraved with the movie's logo and character images, each note contains its unique number in the mintage and is presented in a protective sleeve which includes details of the note's authenticity.
