2017 Australia $1 Kangaroo Gilded Silver (TAX Exempt)

This beautiful silver gilded coin featuring the Australian kangaroo in brilliant 24 carat gold. This will be the second release of the gilded kangaroo, a must have for any collector. Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. The coin's reverse depicts a kangaroo gilded in 24 carat gold bounding across an outback plain. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO, The Perth Mint's ‘P' mintmark, and the 2017 year-date. Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination on its obverse. The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Australian Kangaroo 2017 1oz Silver Gilded Edition. Each coin is presented in a classic Perth Mint display case and accompanied by a numbered Certificate.
