2005 Annual Report - Gold Plated V-Day 5-cent

Exclusive to the 2005 Annual Report, the coin is a replica of the original design, by Mint Master Engraver Thomas Shingles, which was used between 1943 and 1945. The coin featured a 'V' symbol, which represented Winston Churchill’s famous 'V' for victory sign as well as the Roman numeral.
   

2005 "VE Day" Proof 5cent and Medallion Set

Victory Nickel that was produced in 1945, double dated to mark the anniversary. A bronze medallion with Land, Air and Sea imagery on the reverse and the late King George VI on the obverse. A comprehensive, perfect bound, 36 page bilingual booklet detailing Canada’s significant role leading up to the end of the war in Europe, with photographs depicting the Canadian effort.

2002 "Vimy Ridge" Silver Proof Coin

The Vimy Ridge 2002 5-Cent Sterling Silver Coin honours those brave, victorious Canadians. Its reverse depicts the towering pylons of the Vimy Ridge Memorial.
   

2001 "Royal Military College" Commemorative Coin

This second sterling silver commemorative 5-cent coin was issued to honour the Royal Military Colleges in Canada.
   

2000 "Les Voltigeurs de Quebec" Sterling Silver Proof Coin

Since 1862 the first French-Canadian Regiment served with dignity and honour. The reverse of the 5-cent proof coin features a baton, drums, and a sash of the Regimental Insignia of Les Voltigeurs de Quebec.
