The United States is honoring their Nation’s presidents by issuing $1.00 circulating coins featuring their images in the order that they served,
with Presidents James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren in 2008. The United States Mint will mint and issue four
Presidential $1 Coins per year, and each will have a reverse design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. The Mint will continue
honoring four presidents each year until at least 2016.
